Estella Meraz

Lead Veterinary Technician/Dog Trainer

I have worked at Companion Animal Hospital since August 2002. I graduated from Colby Community College with an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology in 2017 and I am a Karen Pryor Certified Training Partner. Recently, as of 2020, I also became an evaluator for Canine Good Citizen and low-stress certified. I am also a proud member of the Pet Professional Guild and the Pet Professional Alliance of Wichita. I enjoy working at Companion Animal Hospital because it is a low-stress and force-free veterinary office that goes along with my beliefs in dog training. At home, I have a boxer mix named Omar, three daughters, and one son. My daughter Reyna just started college at Pratt with a scholarship for soccer. Soledad is in high school and she loves to bake. Alysia is in middle school and also plays competitive soccer. My son Julian is 6 years old and spoiled rotten.

Brenna Kreutziger

Veterinary Assistant

I started working at this clinic as a kennel technician in 2015. Since then, I have also learned the roles of the daycare worker, receptionist, and veterinary technician assistant. I have also had experience working with exotic animals, both here and in a zoo abroad. I love this field and have aspired to be a veterinarian since I was very young. I will be graduating from Wichita State University this year with a bachelor’s degree in biology with a focus on pre-veterinary practice. I will soon be applying to vet school in hopes of working with large exotic animals, such as my favorite, the hippopotamus, in my future. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and being outdoors. I also volunteer at Murdock House Farm Sanctuary and provide for my own animals (a cat, snake, and chinchilla).
